What about Centurion knock wc 2003?

Wasn't that domination ?not on one ,but over the whole ATG attack

ATG attack on its last leg.  They were not the same bowlers. Akram and Waqar both were at the end of their careers.

You must use that yardstick in every comparison then

its ridiculous to hype the bowling just because sachin has scored

Did I talk about how SRT fared on his last leg 2012-13?  Same way, I take that 2003 match with a pinch of salt as both Akram and Waqar retired soon after.  we are talking about peaks.  SRT at his peak averaged 48 from 94-2003 as said by @Muloghonto, Kohli at his peak in last five years is averaging 71 and he has not finished yet.

Yes at a time when batsmen dictate terms

Rather, take this with a pinch of salt

He has played more than 200 odis.  So better give example of those.

certainly more than what SRT did in Australia.  it took him 18 years to score for his first 100 there.

Yes even Manish Pandey scored a 100 there on his first tour.

Those things don't matter.  Here we are talking about who is better.  Who many red ball one day did SRT play?  Ground sizes are very much same.  Two new balls were supposed to help fast bowlers.  SRT was a better batsman if we see as a batsmanship alone, far more talented but he under-achieved.  Kohli has just maximized his talent and has a better temperament.
