Too many injuries prior to the series. ENG batting looks a bit shaky. It's also a big test for their bowlers who don't always do well on AUS tracks.

Don't disagree with you about Marsh or Wade.  And Agree that Maxwell has a lot to demonstrate before he can become a fixture in tests.  But Aussie selectors have been randomly benching him in ODIs and even T20s.   Undeservedly so.

BT Sports is showing Ashes with a monthly subscription of 25£ for a 12 month contract. Shameful how greedy one can be. Also BT is not allowing any terrestrial channel to show highlights to keep it exclusive. There are no day pass available with them either for people to subscribe for pay per view. Majority of people in UK wont be able to watch Ashes. No wonder cricket in this country going down in the drain.
