i would love to see this place being developed as a stadium if feasible. This is a huge plain area, kind of a meadow on top of a hill. This is called Chilmiri Neck, Chakrata, at an altitude of about 2200 meters.   Will be a great summer stadium.  Though it will be even colder than Dharmshala in winters and will also see snowfall at times.

Nice pics man, but the problem would be access parking and the whole host of utilities needed for a stadium, it could probably become a school ground types, i remember a place in himachal where there is such a ground. Chail and one in sisu - lahaul spiti

There are not many places where we have good weather to play serious cricket in India during April- June. Only one is Dharmshala stadium.

Does it matter anyways... because the only cricket that happens then is IPL and only few matches of IPL may be hosted in such venues....

Nothing played in June. Such stadiums will also be great tourist attraction.

This is going to be epic once it is fully developed.  Ransi Stadium Pauri Garhwal 160 km from Dehradun situated at an altitude of 7000 feet.
