Pandya at this moment is more like Lance klusener in tests. Can get quick runs, pick cheap wickets whenever possible. Kallis too infact used to pick wickets when batsman used to feel relieved from not facing Donald Pollock etc and plays a loose shot. If Pandya can do that it's a real bonus.

you got it right..thats going to happen.

he will be taken lightly after ishant/shammi and bhuvi , one more point is pandya has a very fast bouncer which is his regular ball , i see him taking wickets on that ball too.

Ishant's wrist position and accuracy  has improved from NZ 2014 tour.

From that time, we have seen him perform decently in away test matches.

Average 30, SR 53.5,   four 5-wicket hauls in 16 tests

He has not done that well in India ..... because, in India we see those pacers doing well who are great at reverse swing. Ishant is not good at that but depends on seam movement and bounce, which is much more suited to tests outside Asia.

Another advantage with Ishant is that he is a work-horse and can bowl long spells at decent ER, which is needed outside Asia.

Umesh is someone who is at his best bowling with the old ball and reversing it at pace in test matches. Reason why he has done well in India.  Won't get much of that in SA.

Umesh is an out-swing bowler too and may come in handy in England.

If Ishant is combining accuracy with pace, like he is doing now, he is more suited for SA than Umesh.
