Confession time. Jesus I have sinned so I will go on my knees :hysterical: :finger: - Yes I have stolen/borrowed/raided $s from purse - condoms - cigarettes - syphoned off whiskey (stolen part replaced with water) :D - made my cousin steal sweets from shop while I was chatting with the shopkeeper - made my cousin take out porno movie in his name knowing very well that his father would eventually see all the details in the video shopkeeper's register (my cousin got major slaps later that week :D - I also stole innocence of few girls :hysterical: That would be all for now.

Never *stole* anything as such, but nicked 50rs-100rs from my Dad's locker during my early teens. Dad used to keep all his cash in a Green Bag which he locked in this Big Godrej Vault that we had, but its keys were always kept in some secret location. Fortunately for me, my mom accidentally showed me the location of the key one day and that was like a God's gift for me. I used to take the odd 50 rupee note every now and then. Now, 50 rupees may not sound much now, but considering it was 97-98, it was lots of money. I could spend an entire weekend visiting theaters/eating/out/going to beaches with it. :D

I never stole but we used to do what we called "todee" Todee = If Tuition classes cost Rs 5000 for the year then the cost to tell father was Rs 8000, likewise with many other things, todee was legal and safe way to mange those Whisky glasses at Mumbai clubs

^^lol i have neven been to chennai.. heard a bit..
Do you have to have gone to Chennai to know there is a beach there ? For eg, I have never been to Punjab, but I always knew as a kid that the Golden temple was in Amritsar. I get the impression Tics knows VERY VERY little about South India :D

The relevance of what I learnt in school

Didnt really mean to hijack this thread, but taking from what Tics said about Geography and history of India, it really makes me wonder the relevance of the geography and history lessons I learnt in my middle school. I mean WTF, I spent hours and hours on end, memorizing about all the Harappan and Mohenjo Daro civilizationas, the different kingdom dynasties in India, the Russian Revolution, WW 1 and 2 and stuff. The less said about Geography, the better. Who in this world, needs to know which Indian state grows what cash crop ? Or What river runs through which state ? It all seems so so irrelevant to me now. Imagine, as a 14-15 year old, they gave me classes on Basic electrical wiring in the house, or carpentry, or plumbing, or taught me about Time and money management, or say the basic aspects of a balanced diet and a healthy life-style, It would have been so so nice. In short, I am just pissed that I spent years and years of my life learning and memorizing things that have very LITTLE relevance to my daily life, now.

She asked where i was from and when i answered Chennai, she gave the most quizzical look ever and casually told me, " Chennai ? Is it in Bombay ? " :haha: Atleast, Tics isnt that worse.
