Mariyam Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Elgar was worried about the Indian yalgaar in the 3rd test?
Gollum Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Day 4 1st session was behaving like SSC, I had warned that we may need Bevda and gang to set up camp near the pitch overnight. Dereliction of duty . Had the pitch not been repaired they would have been shot out for 100 max. Elgar's innings was mediocre.
Sachinism Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 17 hours ago, Sean Bradley said: To be honest, south africa had a fair shout at the target but they dint plan and execute it well, the first session on day four was yelling out loud that south africa would run away with this, they had 2 set batsmen in Amla & Elgar at the crease, Amla's wicket provided the opening to us and we wrapped it up from one end, Elgar gutsed it out, fought hard, he gained my respect with that performance but this continual menstruation from Elgar over the test not being called off and some oscar winning performances on the field somewhat over shadows on what was a tremendous performance by him with the bat.
mishra Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Test Should have been called off on day 1 itself when some icfers were busy ridiculing Pujara for slow S/R while he was taking body blows. Pitch behaved exactly same way for every day and hence all inning scores under 200. It was African Captain who missed the trick by not using Lungi and Andile, Specially Lungi against Indian second inning.
