That penalty awarded to France changed the whole momentum. Even though Croatia had possession, French made use of their chances. Its crazy to think what devastation this French team could cause if they are in full throttle & play with their full potential. Football is a team game Look at this way EU will all resources money and world class coaching and most clubs and adopting football early still did ok. PBN Posted July 17, 2018 Share Posted July 17, 2018 Thoroughly enjoyed the world cup..with lots of ups and downs..big teams missing out early and big reputation players like Messi, Ronaldo going out in the first knockouts. Portugal - Spain set the bar for the tourney. Loved Belgium and Croatia games . Mbappe what speed and acceleration..the fastest player in the cup. Hazard was amazing esp during the Brazil game. Modric controlled and masterminded the Croatian team. Good memories. Watched almost every single game and it even made me forget about cricket...didn't watch a single ind tour of eng so far.
