India A Tri-Series in England, 2018

Well, I think given the conditions of desi cricket nowadays , it is more easier to succeed at the top level as a bowler than a batsman.
Even the so called (rather self proclaimed)batting all rounders like Washington Sundar, Vijay Shankar , Axar Patel are better bowlers than they can bat LOL.
It is being increasingly tough for pure batsmen to make it beyond a point somehow.
Who was the last pure batsman who really made it big?.
Also KL Rahul is on his way to become the next Rahane under Kohli regime somehow.
Wastage of a nice talent.
Is Kohli being insecure of other batsmen who can harm his vanity hence backing bowlers more?

Will Jacks has an SR of 118  in List A cricket though only 8 games.  He is former England U19.

What do you think about Shreyas Iyer do you think he will be a good prospect for India in the future. Will he make a good number 4 or an opener in the future?

Shubman Gill can be a better #4 I feel.
Opener , no.

This match was supposed to be against Yorkshire. But we play a 50 over cup semi final tomorrow so it was changed to an "ECB XI" made up of mainly u19s
Yeah, the team seems pretty inexperienced TBH.

Fair enough. Wasn't sure about any of them really. More of a C team then. Anyway my point was mainly that it was originally intended for Yorkshire to play this fixture but we now have a much more important one today.
