The selectors have chance to show that they are competent enough to select a good squad.

 

They can select young wicket keepers ie Pant, Kishan or play to the tune of Kohli/Shastri/Dhoni & select Parthiv/Karthik.

The selection committee should have selected a young side for the T20 series against Ireland and England.

 

There are many young talented players ie Pant ,Kishan ,Rana ,Khaleel ,Siraj ,Rajpoot

Iyer,Hooda, Krunal, who should have been selected in the T20 squad.

The selectors also has habit to select only fast bowlers who are playing in the Ranji trophy for last 5,6 years ie Shardul, Chahar,Kaul.

The selectors should have selected a left arm pacer ie Khaleel,Anikeet Chaudhary ,Sran, in the squad to bring a variety to the bowling unit

Hopefully some of these guys perform for India A vs a strong England A, and make it difficult for selectors to ignore them especially Pant and Siraj

Shaw, Pant, Siraj have shown form and performance in the A team.They have acclimatised to the English conditions & they have played against A team.England lion team consists of test regulars ie Cook, Woakes etc.

 

The team is going to get selected today.The selectors should select the team on form rather than selecting on reputation ie Rohit, Parthiv
