Needs to increase pace a bit.

A bit nhin bahut

Ppl dnt feel confident when pandya comes to bowl with an old ball and he clocks around 140k, he also has a very good away going ball

Imagine this guys coming to bowl with old ball on these flat decks

Abhishek Sharma in 2 yrs will be the AR we're looking for along with Hardik. One spin AR and another fast bowling AR.
For that Abhishek needs to sign up with CSK/RCB/MI.
Also Axar Patel is only 24- can play for some times more.

Oh, Did I just forget Jaddu uncle ?

bowls around 120-125

bowling with gentle runup

http://www.bcci.tv/videos/id/5758/ranji-trophy-qf-shivam-dubes-impressive-5-wicket-haul

Dubey is tall and has a high arm action,  good back bending and a reasonably strong finish.  His run up is not fully visible in this video.

Domestic speed guns often show much slower readings.  Moreover, if he gets into the " loop " of A-teams, IPL etc. he will get better strength and conditioning training and get quicker.

There is definitely something to work with here, although far from being the finished product.  He seems to bowl regularly in every format.

How his batting and stroke making ability is, may be more important.  But his SR is good.

dnt wanna judge on this considering the kind of bowling he is being served

Yes ... but backup needs to be created to cover for injuries in important series / tournaments.

true, but backups have to be immediate ready player

at this point its on vijay shankar but he doesnt give u same skills like pandya in LOI

neither pace bowling wise, neither the hitting skill

May be we can add krunal n shankar in such case of panyda injury n make shankar bat up the order and have pant n krunal for the hitting part

If they are looking at chahar as one of the option they have to tell him to start batting up the order in domestic cricket

Even if he is 125 k to 130 k range now  ...  can increase 5 kph to 10 kph from there these days after training.

He has a repeatable and coached action and probably has a stock ball.   That is not rookie level.

We also need to realize when to use pace bowlers and not just keeping them in the team. Just look at now, we were bowling spinners when Sarfaraz and Malik were finding it easy. They could have easily got Bumrah in the middle to get the wicket or put pressure but they chose to save his overs for the end. At least should have tried him around the 30th over mark, but no, Captain Rohit had made his mind to use Bumrah from 42nd over so he can just bowl at the death.

This isn’t t20 and Mumbai indians team where pacers can be kept for the end. 50 overs is different and you got to keep changing your bowlers up.

Both Bhuvaneshwar and Bumrah bowled a couple of overs to Malik and Sarfraz. Bumrah bowled right in the beginning and Bhuvaneshwar bowled 2 overs when they were well settled.

Atit Sheth is a pacer who can bat too.

He is medium fast and is a genuine wicket taker in all 3 formats in domestic cricket.

Has a FC century and batting average of 32.   Decent SRs across formats too.

thats likes 2 yr process which depends on ppl around him

for me as of now he is very long shot

As of now shankar n even deepk chahar is far ahead, n within these 2 yrs we can we look how nagarkotti batting is coming along

Obviously Chahar and Shankar are far ahead.

Both have represented India in T20Is and have played IPL.

But I am in favour of keeping an eye on most budding players.

Some are late bloomers and one never knows who will do what.

Can you name one team that plays proper 5th bowler? You have any idea about team balance?

If you imply by team balance having a player who can neither bat nor bowl then I really don't know about team balance.

H.Pandya has the highest Strike Rate in the history of Indian ODI cricket, among batsmen who have scored 500 runs or more.   This at an acceptable average of 29 for a number 7 batter.

Having a high Strike rate is one of the most important factors for No.5 to No.7  batters in ODIs and T20Is.

He is definitely a proper lower-middle order batsman in ODIs and T20Is.

He just does not have enough in his bowling to be any sort of threat. He is a safety vent and relieves pressure for the opposition. All they have to do is play out Bumrah and Bhuvi. Can you imagine a proper pace bowler like Khaleel and the pressure that would exert.

1)   You said that Pandya can neither bat nor bowl.  That argument does not hold good for ODIs and T20Is  as he is a high SR proper lower-middle order batsman in those formats, as I showcased above.

2)   In LOIs,   No.7 and No.6  need  big hitting high SR batsmen first and their bowling ability come next.   Khaleel should play ... but he can't be the the No.7 batter in the team.  He will have to play as one of the 4 specialist bowlers in LOIs.

Different slots have different roles.
