Different methodz u used to decide the toss

Hows this one "Since we have bought bat and ball this time we are going to bat first" the opponent would say "if thats so we have bought wickets we are not going to give those " now again the 1st team says" no problem we will put 7 bricks and make a wicket " now 2 players are send to find bricks. :D

I think street cricketers are better than International cricketers. I mean we managed to concentrate on our ball so intensely that we would even forget that there are 100 more teams playing on the same ground with a different/similar type of ball. Street cricket rocks :two_thumbs_up:

I guess getting to bat at #1 or #2 in the above method shud (by itself) be celebrated as a victory of sortz :haha: (irrespective of whether someone winz by scoring runz!) Getting to bat earlier == superior, lookz like alwayz

Those games were as important as WC ![/quote'] i know.. we used to play for money in those gamez.. like first it was for "Kanche/Bunta Bottle per player" suppose our team winz.. each player would get a Bunta/kanche waali bottle which was of 3 rupeez... then as we grew, standard also increased.. it was 10 rupees per player.. then 20.. then 50 per player.. was fun..

I hereby declare method 4 as the most popular method of deciding a toss in absence of a coin. This method was successfull when playing as individuals and more than 2 individuals. Unlike international cricket, in most gully cricket games if you open the bowling, you will bat way down the order because you have had your 'chance' and if you open batting in one game, you are bound to bat at the last position in the next one but might get a 'pity' over. :cantstop: Also, anyone remember baby overs? :hysterical: If a really crap bowler is struggling to string together even 2 decent deliveries, the captain signals a 'baby over' which means that 'baby' bowler will be switched after 3 balls. :hysterical:

i am not sure if it happens in anyh other state, but in Delhi, in lot of colonies, if there is just one cricket bat and that is owned by a certain guy, then that very guy would have his batting first, so there is basically no use of toss, the owner of the bat will get to bat first..:hysterical:

At 6th is " Whoever brings the bat , bats first" Only works when u playing where there is only one bat so not very popular.

At 8th is " History Check" This rule basically means if an individual or team has been batting first for a day or 2 more than a couple of times , its time they bowl and let the other team bat first. An extension of mutual agreement rule.
