I have played games like Cricket, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, and so on .... represented school, city, district in most of them .... your theories must be for aliens and not for mere mortals to understand :dontknow:

Someone who can write a dissertation on including Pandya in a testteam surely gets it.

Currently you are representing yourself very poorly forget about school/district etc.

What is soccer?

Since we are at this topic......Shakib ul hasan is the biggest slap on this thread

At this level it is impossible for human bodies be good at two things. You don't get it.

Shakib has been doing it for more than a decade. Ergo, he is not human.

Can someone running 100m run marathon and be competitive?

Running is running.

Since we are on this topic that means you are not pushing Pandya and Shankar anymore. I see that as a sign of progress.

@Ankit_sharma03 @zen @philcric forget about 100 m and marathon answer the following question/

Can anyone running 100 m do 800 m?

Once you understand that you will understand sports better.

Meanwhile @philcric will keep on coming with smart ass comments.

Again in school (studied in one of the best in my region and which was also known for sports), I won races and was also the high jump champion (could have been long jump champion too but was fouled out on my best jump by a whisker)

The parallels you are trying to draw are not applicable to cricket. Tomorrow, you will say that can someone bat/bowl and field too

And you must have guessed it by now - I could bat, bowl, and field too :yay:

Watching enough to say he is another bits and pieces.

Shankar came to the team as an allrounder. Now captain has figured it out that he cannot bowl at this level (why it took so much time I dont understand). If he is in as a batsman then there are dozen othes better than him.

Why are the laws of sports not applicable in cricket?

You can do long jump, high jump, bat bowl and field. You are a wizard?

Do you know someone who can do long jump cannot compete for high jump at next level. If you know so much this should be easy for you to understand.

Thats coz he can bowl doesnt mean his ability with ball is enough to call him all rounder. We have called mediocre guys like binny n rishi dhawan as all rounder ....coz we had no choice. We call jadeja all rounder who is at best a bowler who can bat .

Smith came into team as a leggie who can bat........and he became one of the best batsman in world

Sehwag in his state side was selected as spinner

Running is not condition based cricket is.......if only u understood the basic diff

Running has lot in common than batting and bowling. Batting and bowling are two contrasting body functions and if you know knieseology (sp??) it is just not workable.

Batting and bowling require two different types of human bodies.
