add shaw and we have a good combo

Patel is better than the two bozos playing but if he is not keeping wkts then it is difficult to justify a spot for him. Pant so far has not done anything to be dropped.

funny but effective . allows for better backfoot play . dont play patel as keeper . just as specialized opener which he is

In this situation won't mind even Parthiv opening with Shaw (if fit). With scoreline likely to be 1-1 after this test, we can still win series if openers contribute.
