Those overs we gave aus to bat, woulod have given players T20 licence to inflict carnage Then bowl start of day 3 But Kohli wanted to have some overs today, fair enough, positive move. But I would have done it slightly different I think it was the right move. The Aussies were so exhausted that they had almost forgotten how to field. Our bowlers were relaxed and fresh. Bumrah wasnt too far from picking up an early wicket. One or two quick wickets would have created chaos in the Australian dressing room. Anyway let's see how it goes tomorrow. Straight Drive
LOL. Aussies batting at even slower rate. India scored at 2.6 runs per over, Aussies are scoring at 2.34. Lost 6 wickets even with lower SR and not even scoring 30% of our score. Lets play more T20 Aussies. Link to comment
Straight Drive
India 443/7 (169.4 overs) @ strike rate 2.61 Aussies 151 all out (66.5 overs) @ strike rate 2.27 So much for the SR, Aussies could not even make 35% of Indian total. Said it wait for both teams to bat. If we had batted like T20 hacks we could have not got such a massive lead of 292 runs. When has this happened in past in our previous tours of Australia ? zen 1 Link to comment
CG
If Kohli struggled to score quickly on this pitch no way Aussie batsman were going to. Link to comment
