Can be good if rain interruptions are not long, can make the weather less sultry and provide breaks to our bowlers and break rhythm of set batsmen.

One concern is Ishant has looked really flat and tired after first spell. Not looking good.

Pant's  keeping needs a lot of improvement.

I think we should let them follow on ,thr bowlers will get a full day rest anyway and also they are fresh after 10 days break . We shouldn't risk batting again and wasting overs

Very strange decision not to let them follow on ...   unless the pacers are tired or have mild niggles.

Maybe but itseems the entire first and a major part of second sessions will be washed off on Sunday.
