What was RCB’s record before Kohli?

more or less same :phehe:

Copying a post from another thread ...

Before Virat ... 2008-2012 ... 5 years ... 2 non-playoffs, 3 playoffs (2 finals).

Virat ... 2013-2018 ... 6 years ... 4 non-playoffs, 2 playoffs (1 final).

And the position on table when RCB didn't reach the playoffs ...

Before Virat

2008 - 7/8

2012 - 5/9

Virat

2013 - 5/9

2014 - 7/8

2017 - 8/8

2018 - 6/8

Clearly, by every metric, RCB was much better before Virat's captaincy.

RCB had really one terrible season before Virat's captaincy in the inaugural year of 2008. In every other season they either reached the finals or playoffs or very close to reach playoffs.

Under Virat's captaincy they had 3 terrible seasons out of 6, where they were pretty much out of the tournament half way through. On their way to 4th terrible season out of 7.

Some teams turned nobodies into their main players. Asnodkar, Bisla, Jakati.  RCB turned great stars into duds.

This sums it up kohli strategy and captaincy. Other than hostile and fearful environment he doesn't have anything to offer as a captain.

one instance of him winning a match???

He won against SRH where he hit 40 runs in bhuvi 2 overs and he was playing ipl for the firs time. After that season he has been kept out by moron kohli for fitness issue.

Sometime back, I saw highlights of a India Pakistan match. Players were running passionately into team huddle, there was captain, going and lifting bowler, players rubbing their chest with each other, feeling each others but ts and similar so called Homo stuff after fall of each wicket. And when they won they were  running to each other and holding like Boyfrnd Girlfriend stuff. And captain, Bowler and Dhoni were first one to show Homo behaviour.

Kohli has substantially reduced such Homo behaviour like team members feeling their captain :hatsoff:
