Another highlight of Kapil's career was his one day peak.He has a stretch of 105 inns  with avg: 30.16 &  str: of 107.14.

When specialist batsmen in those days were striking in the range 60-70  Kapil was striking at 107.14...

In tests he was comfortably behind Imran (still a tamperer)/Botham as AR. Hadlee even though not exactly an AR was a better package than KD because his bowling was way superior. Talking about peak, Botham in his 1st 5 years was the GOAT.  

Good analysis.Still Kapil was more more complete than Hadlee being a better batsmen and championing unresponsive wickets and comparable to Botham,being a better pace bowler overall.Twice Kapil Dev beat Botham for man of the series award which is significant at home and away in 1981-82.Also performed much better than Botham v West Indies,the best team of all time;.
