I doubt that story which keeps doing rounds since agea. If there was ever a video of that innings then BBC or the sports channels today would have given a fortune to Kapil Dev.

yes....but then it is also a truth that even Kapil's 129 vs SAF , 2 back to back  inns in Windeis in 83  etc etc are also no where to be seen in Youtube  despite the chances of getting them very high . Surely some broadcasters would have recorded live these matches , isn't it?

On doing search online, there is a mention that BBC were on strike on that day and hence this particular match was not recorded. That seems the most convincing reason . Otherwise if some broadcaster had the recording it would surely be available and shown million times to us  Indian fans
