Straight Drive
It's not at foolish as one would think. There are some wonderful winning moment memories which can be remembered and it has a chance to make the confidence level and general mood of the player very positive. Some things can be more motivational than a speech from the coach on a match day. Edited June 9, 2019 by Straight Drive Link to comment

Straight Drive
Jonny Bairstow was returned gloves of his late father by an Australian who handed it back to him when he was in Australia. Bairstow was very emotional and appreciated the fan who returned the gloves. Fans may consider these as pointless but there are many such occasions which are highly appreciated by the players. If it helps players motivate there is nothing wrong about it. There is no harm here. Edited June 9, 2019 by Straight Drive Link to comment
Straight Drive
Steve Waugh used to take his team to some places of historic importances before or during Ashes.Every cricketer has been involved in such events which can refresh memories or get motivated. Even Sunny, Kapil, Tendulkar and rest carried some or other things on tours just to stay motivated. Why does Virat Kohli get the flak. Link to comment
