Do pitches have 350+ in them or the teams like Morgans 11?

We now have one of the fastest bowlers in history of cricket with gem of ability. They completely bury any batting unit within a day during a test match.

The spinners are just as fab. On turning wickets, even Bong spinners have almost decimated sides like England and Australia in test matches.

 

But when it comes to limited overs, all of sudden batsmen who cant survive 10 balls in test cricket are scoring at SR of 100+ for allmost 50+ deliveries.

 

Is 2 new balls to blame? Is T20 to blame? Is power hitting the cause? Or it is just them groundsmen (ECB) who are filling the wickets with 650-800 runs. If people have followed England One day Cup, They will find that allmost every game team batting first is scoring 300+. Its just that same set of Supebats fall into score board pressure while chasing.

 

Compare this to any other domestic league in places like Asia or Australia and story doesnt adds. Has English doctored not just the International pitches but there domestic league as well. Can these guys actually survive and score on wickets which aren't English?

a) The difference b/w “red” ball and white ball cricket. In general, tests is played differently 

b) two new balls 

c) change in PP rules 

d) many of the pitches are good for batting and the batting has evolved over the years to master the format

e) Teams like Eng are good batting sides 

 

The big factors are usually pitches and conditions though. On some grounds, par score appeared to be 270-280

Of course pitches and white ball doesn't offer any swing or movement throughout the match.

 

But to prevent opposition scoring 350 plus score, 2 genuine wicket takers are needed who have 145 kph average pace who is able to nail yorkers or can turn ball regardless of pitch conditions.

 

In today's Aus v Ban match, the difference came down to Starc, who bowled fast as usual but plenty of yoker lengths deliveries

Bangladesh quicks had no pace and couldn't execute their yorkers, Mustafizur was suppose to have a good slow yorker but seems to have lost the ability.

 35 year old Malinga had a field day against a side side which was breaking all batting records for last 4 years on a 250+ pitch.

Same white ball has shown that scoring 250 is not easy. Africa england lanka and Kiwis all struggled
