coffee_rules Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 (edited) Nabi was saved on impact DRS call, while another opener was saved because of outside leg decision of DRS. Bumrah didn't get his plumb lbw on umpire's call on hitting wkts. Dumb DRS rules. If wkts are umpire's call, why not impact and outside leg? Edited June 22, 2019 by coffee_rules
randomGuy Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Atleast teams should retain reviews on such close calls.
philcric Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Ball pitching and impact are absolute, whereas wicket hitting (in case of LBWs) is predictive. cowboysfan 1
philcric Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Impact is also umpire's call btw. IMO it should not be.
SK_IH Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Vijay Shankar also got a rough one today from trigger happy Dar
coffee_rules Posted June 22, 2019 Author Posted June 22, 2019 Alam Dar was totally biased, India should complain and not have him officiate in India matches. Chut iya.

bowl_out Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Probably because where it pitches and point of impact is actual data points whereas hitting stumps or not is predictive
