World Cup finals @ Lord's - Flip of a coin should not be the decider?

I will be aghast if this turns out to be the fact. There have been 4 matches in Lord's so far and batting becomes considerably difficult in the 2nd innings. Although this has been an ubiquitous trend in this WC but Lord's best exemplify the fact.

Green track is not the solution but I hope and pray , an absolute pancake of a pitch is prepared for the finals to add some parity to the contest

generally whoever bats first the match in WC finals, with some notable exceptions like our 2011 win and the 1999 final (where pak batted first and lost). so, basically winning the toss and electing to bat will go a long way in most WCs to winning the trophy.

Pressure is different component but the conditions should not be deterrent to the chasing side.

Lords isn't always a bat first pitch, we've seen this many a times! If it's turning (slightly) as was the case in Oz matches then we'll have a better chance against the finalists then most of you think. Provided we get to the finals

I am not concerned because we have the greatest ever chaser who also happens to be 20,0000 leagues above Viv. Also the greatest ever finisher.
