Caught the highlights on youtube yesterday. This guy has very decisive feet movement.  Pretty good with pull shots. Also has a liking for inside out shots.  Nice bat swing. More importantly Sehwag like aggression at the top of the order.  Averaging 56 in the list A at a strike rate of 100. He is 22 now. Lot of the promising talents may or may not click. Let us hope this guy clicks. Looks like a batsman with positive mindset.

Another opener, eh? It might come down to him v/s Shaw in ODIs. Let's see who grabs their chances first. We're still 1-2 years away before an opening slot is free when Dhawan returning to full fitness.

rohit, dhawan, gill (who opens for A teams at times), KLR, shaw, mayank, gaekwad are all in the mix as of now. at least 2 of them need to convert themselves into middle order bats. too late for rohit-dhawan, shaw lacks the game. my first bet is on gill. but with proper application at least one of mayank, gaekwad, KLR can play in middle order.
