The 'gobar' in skull of Potli can't differentiate between a 50-over and T20, let alone himself playing in the mould of fast paced format.

 

India's only option is for opposition teams to have Ashwin-like character in their team so Kaptaan can go full bonkers and ooze out his verbal abuses and jazbaa.

Our mindset needs to change. Our players don't have exotic strokes like scoop reverse sweep & are extremely limited & boring to watch. Our batting in Power play needs to ultra aggressive.  Shikhar needs to be booted out of T20s.  Ishan Kishan can provide us the boost at the top.  Nitish Rana has to be fitted in the middle order.

Will be surprised if India even qualifies for SF with the current way of approaching T20s. Ideally India should look at the potential players (Gill, Rahul Chahar, Gopal, Gowtham, Mavi, Nagarkoti if fit, I. Kishan, A. Roy) at 2020 T20 WC whom they want to persist and groomed for WC23.

Good thing in t20s is that even weaker teams of Odis like WI, SL can smash India so India wont have that easy access to customary SF spot which they do in every ICC tournament and satisfy themselves, Even in last t20 India barely made to SF owing to Bangladesh brainfart and Kohli's heroics against Australia.
