So he runs through the crease even though knee dominant.

Yes. Even running through isn't a problem if a bowler can have good hip shoulder separation which is very difficult for knee dominants because they struggle with preturn.

For knee dominant bowlers, I have one clue that is touching and holding at the right pocket of your trousers when loading. Like this in attempt to use longer BFC time to access muscle strength. This is what is slinging the ball. Knee dominant slingers are few of the fastest bowlers in history. People usually misunderstand slingy means round arm. Slingy means holding your bowling arm at the right pocket of your trousers. That's the clue.

I have made him do a lot of bowling drills. He is still just a kid and doesn't yet have that kind of strength but has stiff backfoot. Very good technical development for his age. Many international fast bowlers lack stiff backfoot. It's now two years since he first started bowling gained interest in cricket after watching IPL 2019.

Doesn't hip shoulder separation means holding the torso back as the lower body goes through , shouldn't that be easier for knee dominant bowlers.

No rotating lower body is problem for knee dominants because they have to rotate the backfoot which is parallel to crease. Rotating backfoot simultaneously quickly with front foot landing will not allow accessing of longer back foot contact. It's easier for hip dominants because their backfoot either lands straight or midway position. So not much rotation needed.

Brett Lee is the perfect knee dominant bowler with good hip shoulder separation and that is because his back foot landed midway instead of parallel. Even Shoaib didn't have that.

So the release/transfer of the body is not smooth due to the backfoot being parallel to the crease .I thought pre turn was the end of hip shoulder separation or is it the start.

Preturn is rotation of back foot after backfoot contact. Knee dominant bowlers struggle with that that's why they tend to have a lot of left lateral flexion if they don't have stiff backfoot landing. Stiff backfoot landing like in the above picture helps in rotation of the backfoot.

I had posted about nagarkoti and reason for his left lateral flexion and back issues because he had soft back foot landing. His back foot wouldn't rotate that led to multiple stress fractures. Now he has improved on that. Will try to find that Kamlesh Nagarkoti thread. I had demonstrated that with pictures.

For preturn, weight has to be shifted onto the the front foot , otherwise it's impossible to do it,which means hip shoulder separation must end .

Great demonstration of preturn.

Example of hip shoulder separation. After the backfoot landing, it must rotate forward while bowling arm starts to go up and before frontfoot landing.

Hi. These are two links of instagram and youtube where I have uploaded videos. Please see and assess and advise about what approach, action or video you find the best as we have tried different approaches like runups, loading which do you think I should persist with for long term. @express bowling @Mosher@MultiB48 @Suhaan

Make the videos at least 20 secs ,5 sec ones are is too short.put 2 or 3 balls together to give repeatability to the viewer, that's makes it better to watch.

Actually I just want you to watch that one ball and just repeat that.  I am looking to persist with this for now and just increase the pace of running and arm speed as we go along.

Personally, I am not a fan of background songs. It affects my concentration. I prefer just a soft music.

As you want the viewer to concentrate on just that one delivery ... if possible add a slow motion of that delivery too after the delivery is shown in normal motion.

Watching the delivery from the bowler's end would be nice too.

For music, you can turn the volume down. Check this video

The vertical mode full screen was better as I want to watch the run up and bowling action closely. And this provides the largest size.

Give the slo-mo after the normal motion ball ... both in full screen vertical mode.

You can zoom in the screen.
