Austin 3:!6 Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 What is with this cut throat back to back matches scheduled by our money hungry board? I understand the sponsorship deal and all that but players are not machines. We just played our last t20 against Srilanka on 10th January and will be playing our 1st T20 on an all important NZ tour on 24th January. Why would you want to squeeze in an ODI series in that 14 day gap? Give players some rest...let them enjoy with their family or even better send them to NZ early to acclimatize with conditions. Extremely poor scheduling from BCCI. Vk1, Turning_track and Norman 3
LordPrabhzy Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 I really dont understand what was the point of this tour by Australia, they've also back to back tours by Pak and NZ, players should get some time off for a couple of week atleast or send them to NZ to start to acclimatise. Austin 3:!6 1
Austin 3:!6 Posted January 13, 2020 Author Posted January 13, 2020 Just now, LordPrabhzy said: I really dont understand what was the point of this tour by Australia, they've also back to back tours by Pak and NZ, players should get some time off for a couple of week atleast or send them to NZ to start to acclimatise. I thought Virat was unhappy with BCCI scheduling...so not sure why he is quiet this time. Maybe after world cup semi final fiasco, he has lost bargaining chip?
prudent_kreeda Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Tour is fine. Would have been great ifRrat,Rohit, jaddu,Dhawan backed out to be with family. So many guys are waiting to play since years.
ganeshran Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Australia ODI series is pointless at this time. At least with T20s you can say we are preparing for the WC. Austin 3:!6 1
RajBan Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Number of matches is really not the problem given the talent pool we have. Problem is we are not ready to give chances to the next set of people and rotate around to protect incumbents.
