He is either going to get bowled or nick in the slips or spoon to short mid on or mid off if he mistimes the shot. Also the backlift is too high. I heard that the reason behind Rahul exclusion was because there is only two tests now and nothing till the end of the year? Not sure. So why expose him for a short time. That was the logic from what I head and read online. KL ahead of Shaw or Vihari seemed like a logical no brainer, given his form of late. Looking forward to seeing which Indians can stand up in the 2nd innings.
