What am I?

1) I can be attributed to 'hooking up' one of the most recognised celeb couples in the world.

2) I belong to a' family' whose name is a loan word to English.

3) Nothing to hide

Huh?

@NameGoesHere already answered it.

Why do you use the prefix thala before the name of every person you have a man crush over?

Thala Dhoni

Thala Eastwood

Thala Putin

:p:

Only this question is unanswered:

^^ I got the what not who part of it first up, but was thinking a name, rather than a thing.

Damn it's probably (I belong to a' family' whose name is a loan word to English.) in the Xerox category of brands.   The brand = the category in the public imagination.  Like Fedex etc.

So a Unilever product (#4).

Nothing to hide (#5)- transparent/ translucent soap or a toothpaste- wasn't Pears soap that ways?

What was that transparent toothpaste again?

Although how that fits into # 1 or #2 I don't know.

Edit, unless 'family' = soap, and 'soap' was an original brand or something.  In short- no clue

Fairly close.

Your thinking is extremely analytical.

The only place where you've erred is the 'family'. If you guess that, then it would take you but a few seconds to unravel the rest of it.

Nope. Not them. They aren't even a couple (anymore).

Also Head and Shoulders is owned by P&G, not HUL.

You did edit your post!

But I will give you the benefit of the doubt and the "great post" tag.

Well played.

No, I didn’t edit after reading your post, you can check the time stamp, both are at the same time. I was guessing Manyawar and saw pk’s answer (Shahid kapoor and kk ad for all clear) and got it right. I will share my  Great post tag with pk.

The answer is

*drum roll*

Clear Shampoo

Virat Anushka is the couple.

Shampoo is the loan word to English.

Nothing to hide is the tag line of the brand.

Unilever is the parent company.

Bloody Indians.

I was thinking Harry/Megan, Clooney/Amal and here we are right at home.
