Gambit Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Which drink, apart from water, you find most refreshing? For me, Neembu Paani is the king. Simple, unadulterated good wholesome drink. :top: Very refreshing on a hot summer's day. Cold Coffee comes second. Coke/Pepsi don't even figure on my list.

The scooped semi-solid endosperm (also has to be the right consistency; if too thick and chewy, it ruins it) after the refreshing TWC - heaven. Second on the list - fresh squeezed sugarcane water with lemon, ginger and a bit of salt. As for neembu-paani, it has to be salted and very lightly sweetened for me.
Aditi Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Ice cold lemonade. Nothing beats the heat quite like that!
Don Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 red bull on rocks ............after a tiring day is refreshing as hell tho neembu paani, sugarcane juice, coconut juice are all right up there

amits Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 nimbu pani, tender coconut, ganne ka ras(sugarcane juice), bel ka sharbat, aam panna
theguyinallblue Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 i used to drink sugarcane juice mixed with lemon,Pudina, Ginger and Black Salt....almost daily in summers but i have not touched the sugarcane juice for last 10 years because of pathetic hygienic conditions at the juice shops... Coconut water is a rare commodity in delhi..and is available at relatively higher cost... Chilled Nimbu Paani is the best thing to have during hot and humid summer... there is nothing like Nimbu Paani and i like "Banta" ...lemonade with lemon, sugar, Blacksalt...ahhhhh there used to be one Thelawala outside our school who used to sell a drink ..forgot the name... there used to be Pudina, tamrind, Lemon, Blacksalt, Green Chilly and ice...the taste was amazing..
