Maybe they could have made some quick adjustment like moving across the crease and making it a straight ball. No attempt was made whatsoever.

That Aussie batting lineup was truly dreadful for their standards. Harris making debut, Finch first test at home and duds like Khawaja, Marsh, Handscomb etc...

Mayank and Rahane were not stable while playing their shots. Rahane was looking to drive actually. Agreed with both. But it is difficult to actually implement that practically. Tendulkar would have struggled to reach double figures here too.
