Kohli should do the honourable thing and step down on his own. There is now way Rahane cannot be the captain when we play our next test series in 15 days

Doubt it ..Rahane deserves it and there is no harm in separate captains for separate formats but knowing Kohl'is ego it's doubtful that he would be ready to play under someone else now.

The guy is still inconsistent but he has got that midas touch which is also a key ingredient for a winner.

Rahane has never lost test match as captain and don't forget he was captain when we won decider in 2017. This time he won us series after looking impossible to even win one match. Everyone giving their best under him.

We need to let go of this old fashioned way of thinking. Best captain is not the best player.
