Turning point of the game

Got to be the Sundar/Thakur partnership. 

 

We were down and out of the game after Pant got out and staring at a 120-130/run lead thanks to our awful tail but those two in their first test innings put together probably one of the most important partnerships in Indian Test cricket history. Both looked extremely composed at the crease against both spin and Pace and made run scoring look so easy. 

 

So a big  to both of em.

Got the lead down a paultry 33 and made aussies sweat about a possible defeat and thus forcing them to bat until tea on day4. 

 

Had they taken even 80 run lead we would have easily been 4 down yesterday and we all know how that would have ended.

Yeah there were contributions like this throughout the match. Bowlers who played 3 or 4 games between them managed to get Aussies out twice at Gabba, which has not happened in a long, long time.

If I were to pick just ONE moment, it would be Sundar's six off Cummins today. It turned the hunter into the hunted in a flash.
