Definitely, this is the reason why we won here (Oz) in 2021 - any other way & it simply wasn't possible! Just imagine if Sehwag hadn't tried to Katich out of the ground in 2003 MCG, we could've achieved the near impossible 16 years back

 

Same goes for a lot of series or trophy wins we could've had in years gone by, as much as I hate peak Oz (for their arrogance) what that team had was this ability to put aside one's instinctive drive to dominate & instead grind it out for the team's case - the exact reason why Oz won in India after 35+ years in 2004, on the back of Martyn & Co.

 

I'm hoping we now get to the stage where we can dominate world over after this - like many analysts have been predicting for so long! Anywhere close to that Oz team, let alone the best of Windies, & we'd have done justice to the abundant talent we have at home
