Dude bjp are literally in power in KA. While it may not be the only issue Ram Mandir is very much welcome there

KA are different from TN, and Kerala. The whole rationale angle and socialist angle was never very evident in KA. For TN and kerala BJP needs to be truly right wing not some hindi jingo won't work.

agree. North states also have the same casteist problem like South states but BJP was able to unify them on religion.

BJP should go full right to make it work.

They have broke through Karnataka. Hopefully  Telangana is next. TN is doable. I think Andhra and Kerala will be the final frontier.

See i agree that bjp strategy needs to differ by state.

But they already do that as per need of state. Sabrimala for eg is focus of bjp on kerala. In Kerala itself, the Nair Service Soceity has donated money for Ram mandir.

https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/kerala/nss-donates-7-lakh-for-ram-temple-construction/article33891386.ece

So i think its wrong to suggest people dont care about Ram mandir in kerela.  The NSS has traditionally backed the Congress in most elections. It may not be an issue which pushes people to vote but its not a rationalist state either. The truth lay in the middle.

This argument about ratinalist tn also needs to stop. Its a poor understanding of their own state outside the Chennai bubble. Caste + money win you elections in Ap and Tn.

Agree to an extent, dont have patience to put things in concise form for right wing muppets that I was chatting with here to understand, but for reasonable posters I will tell this, if you go and tell the cast vote banks in TN hinterland about ram mandir lol bjp will loose deposit. There are nuances there. That does not make them xtians commies in tn ?? lol now that is the simplistic me or nothing northindian view point of India that makes tn hostile. Commies never had any stable base in tn. Local governance and clans have always held vote banks. Tn is the most urbanised state in India if you need to go out of urban areas you need to head up the hills or coatal hamlets there denominators are at biryani quarter level lol thats the state kf affairs there.

I have been hearing this a lot. May be it’s a propoganda of the left but I see this argument thrown around that South doesn’t care about Ran Mandir quiet often. I swear I have seen other poster use this as well.

India’s biggest temple of Lord Balaji is in South who is an incarnation of Vishnu, there are some prominent ram temples in Karnataka and Andhra because if you trace through the route of Ramayan that’s what connects the North to the extreme South.

Funnily 2 South CM’s and movie icons  were named after Ram- NT Rama Rao and MG Rama Chandran.

I do agree that Hindu imposition phobia exists when it comes to BJP and personally I do not agree with Hindi imposition either.

Only time will tell. But ram mandir lol man.. its such a non issue that its sad a major right wing party has to depend on it.

The 2 parties are at least on principle Dravidian. They believe in that or not is another matter. This is where BJP can brining in the Hindu sentiment or if you want to call it right-wing.

Andhra is more blatantly caste based. Funnily a lot of these guys will have the same conservative view point as BJP but it’s the caste that. Keeps them in power. With Christian missionaries running rampant, it becomes easy for BJP to be the messiah and use those politics to break through.

Thats why TN is easier than Andhra or Kerala for me

Wow nice comeback...is that the best you could do?

Looks like I touched a raw nerve somewhere. What was it?

The effete remark or the lemurian remark?

Lemurs are little primates from Madagascar while it is a super offensive remark to call anyone a small primate I dont really care what you call tamils. In my life I have come across lots of fake machos online uniformly found them around 5'2 60 kg puny * faces in real life thats what I said in my earlier post, may be you are different I dont know dont care.

No. I don’t know what your religion is, so no worries but in Hinduism, Ram is a very important deity to us that represents Hinduism itself as we see him as the first king of this land. Ram Rajya being the term.

It’s not about where the Ram mandir is being built but the fact that finally Ram Mandir is being built in the place where Ram was born.

May be it is difficult to have those sensibilities if you Abrahamic religions so tough to explain.

May be I dont follow Andhra politics. But TN will be very difficult if bjp goes in with their hindi rashtra and ram mandir.

you need to wait for the TN elections to happen....

AIADMK might be swallowed whole.

Kerela is toughest nut to crack. AP, BJP well placed in alliance with Pawan Kalyan. Will not win but will expand into TDP vote base.

I am talking about Hindu vote bases ( there is no one Hindu vote base in tn) Muslims and xtians together make 7 pc.
