So, he is the Mumbai middle order bat. ABout 30 years age. Attacking strokeplayer who should have made his T20I debut a long time ago, but here we are. He should play all the T20Is from now until the WC, get him as long a rope as possible, hes earned it. Probably unlike any middle order bat weve had in the past in terms of how he plays.

Is this the right approach for a T20 World Cup?

 

A 30 year old player? Is he really that good?

 

We already have Hitman/Kohli in the field.

 

Lets not forget this stupid team will pick Dhawan at the top. I know it, you know it. We dont want it. But it will happen.

At 30, he is fitter than 20 year olds. Right time to give him a go. Plus he butchers spinners relentlessly. Need such enforcers in our LOI middle order

He was called to Ahmedabad but then asked to report back to NCA. Is taking a minute extra to complete a 2 km run (8 minutes 30 seconds is the upper limit).

 

Reading just now that even Tewatia has failed the tests at NCA.
