Your fielding gets sharper, timing the ball gets better and bowling is tight. It is easy to move from T20 to Test than other way around. The best bat in the world right now (a.k.a Rohit Sharma) can do everything with ease.

I presume the batting technique against the swinging ball also gets better. Edited March 7, 2021 by rangeelaraja express bowling and Under_Score 1 1

I just dont think NZ is good enough to beat India. Not sure sure about that. In the meantime, starting May 25, NZL will be playing a tour match vs Somerset and then two tests vs England. They're likely more fine-tuned than India will be. Hopefully, they will be more fatigued, too :-). And hopefully, moving the match to Southampton will minimize the impact of bloody English conditions. Edited March 7, 2021 by BacktoCricaddict kirkutfan and express bowling 2

Get there on time and get some practise. All Indian players have some experience under those conditions so it will not be that painful.

Rohit, Ishant, Bumrah, Shami, KL, Kohli, these guys have been there before. They should be ready. I firmly believe India wins it as long as they dont have a slow start.
