In every international match, he has bowled some overs in the 143 k to 146 k range. In the Duleep Trophy too. In this IPL he has been about 2 kph slower.

Think time is up fr him to have ind intnl career.

 

After that 1 break-out season all Ind pacer had suffered some kind of injury which hampered their way into Ind side plus last tm and selections inclination toward ~140ish kmph bowlers.

 

Moshin-- Arm injury

Sen- Knee

Mayank--nt sure what injury does he have but is injured 

Tyagi --he is ever injured

Umran -- he was fit but can not leave upto expectations but unfit now

 

And rest who are supposed to be quick Gurnoor, Ashok etc do not  get a game.

Arshdeep’s pace has deteriorated massively. He needs to get it up to 137-140 consistently. He now bowls mostly at 130-135 with the odd 137. Earlier his Yorkers were up to 144. Those days are long gone.

Arsh was always that quick only...140's were his effort balls.
Once you play more internationally, these bowlers try to preserve themselves to avoid injury. Hence operate on lower pace.

I think he is trying to go for more control..and bowl slightly slower. esp during early on when ball is new and not his strength.though I want him to develop control at higher speeds..

He bowled 145 in Ranjis apparently. Maybe those speedguns were faulty.

 

Anyway Vyshak/Sen need to replace him. Guy has zero T20 skills

I suspect another reason. While losing weight , he might have lost muscle mass as well.
