Some Batsmen have developed god like ability to hit high pace even if on flat pitches. It wasn't the case before even on flat pitches.

So is this article written to "whitewash" Nabi and Mukesh ?

Both are domestic stalwarts, have outrageously good numbers, yet they are found struggling....Mukesh is bowling full tosses and though I haven't seen a single delivery by Nabi this season, based on comments he doesn't seem like an upgrade either.

Gurnoor could have been like for like replacement for Prasidh.
But they went for Arshad due to LA angle and also coz he can bat.

Quite possible, J&K, specially Kashmir's age group cricket is questionable.
As not a very developed place, the hiding of age is pretty easy.
Even Samad don't look like 23-24, easily 3-4 years fudge like Rashid. We have had so many examples like Munaf, Manoj Prabhakar, Praveen Kumar etc who all retired by 32-33, but they all were atleast 3-4 years off.

They may have probably anticipated pitches may start slowing down and high pace might be easy to score against

This itself should disqualify him from anywhere remotely close to the Indian team coaching circles.

But unfortunately most new young players regardless of the format are only introduced in T20s first  - especially bowlers. The system is broken.
Exception is seasoned journeymen trundlers who r presumed to be intelligent species capable of swing.
