22 Players Squad for ICC T20 WC 2021

ICC has bumped the player limit from 15 to 22 players (max).

 

Overall Total squad can be 30 including support staff.

 

 Ideally ICC should have given a fixed number of 20 players + support staff.

 

Now teams can choose a combination of say 19 players and 9 support staff or 17 players or 8 support staff or so on.

I think I ll go for 20 Players. More than enough. Too many choices leads to confusion and too many media stories about why he is not being picked.
 

Ideal would be 6 fast bowlers in Bumrah Shami Bhuvi Nattu Shardul Prasidh.

 

4 Spinners in Chahar, Tewatia, Varun C, Chahal/ Kuldeep. 

 

3 All Rounders in Jadeja, Sundar, Hardik, 
 

Rest 7 Batsmen in Kohli,Rohit, Rahul,Sky,Kishan,Pant, Iyer
 

But with Indian selectors I m sure Dhawan is somehow going to sneak in. If any other player who has a chance to get in by way of performance is Mayank or Samson. Dont think Shaw will be picked. Krunal outside chance
