Which would have been a better side - ATG AUS T20 XI vs ATG WI T20 XI (including ex players who never played the format) ???

Recommended Posts

If all time players were playing today and these sides go against each other who would have won ??

I have included current players and tried to select player who wud have played this format the best

Aus ATG XI

  1. Gilly (wk)
  2. Watson
  3. Warner
  4. Finch
  5. Maxwell
  6. Symonds
  7. Hussey (floater)
  8. Warne
  9. Brad hogg
  10. Starc
  11. Lee/ Mcgrath

  • Step aside kulcha imagine brad hogg n warne in tandom and if needed they can go for 3 seamers as well
  • why warner at 3 ??? coz he can bat in any gear and allows me to have left right combo

WI ATG XI

  1. Gayle
  2. Viv Richards
  3. Lara
  4. Sobers
  5. Pooran (wk)
  6. Pollard
  7. Russell
  8. Bravo
  9. Narine
  10. Garner
  11. Marshal/Roberts/Holding
  12. Badree/ Hayden walsh (if they want to play a spinner)

He may become ATG for WI but it’s way too early to put Pooran on this list. I would put Johnson Charles in there for the time being. Maybe even Chanderpaul but I don’t know how his game would translate to T20i.

he aint an ATG but as keeper batsman with lack of competition in WI side it becomes easy for him

West Indies ATG defecates on any Aussie lineup in the T20 format.

Aussies lack power hitting and good bowlers of Yorkers apart from Starc who is wild.

Gilly watson warner symonds maxwell finch - how does aussie lack power hitting??

That aussie lineup is as scary as it cud get

Even wi lack spin bowling quality compare to aus, narine post action change hasnt been half as effective.

In ODI sure. T20 NhA. There is a reason why they never could win a WC in t20 format.

Depends on pitches anyway. Overall I still don't see them beating the goat version w.indies.

Infact goat Indian T20 side would demolish them I reckon.

Fair enough.  It is surprising the lack of batting prowess at the wicketkeeper position WI have had over the years.
