As I said, temples are for Gods (traditional ones), not praying to diseases as if the diseases are Gods

Because the idea is that for what troubles us, creating a temple for it could alleviate the problem. Extending that line of thinking, Islamic terrorist trouble us too, so would be similarly foolish to create a temple for them

So, your idea is to exclude all those practices who have been respected under the umbrella of Hinduism as non-Hindu practices? Grama devata is out, tribal gods are out, 100 years earlier Saibabas are out, unless someone says he is an avatar of your favorite devta.

As highlighted earlier, temples are for Gods (including their avatars). It can be extended to those who have been blessed to carry out tasks by Gods, those who have been turned into deities by Gods themselves, and, at times, even those who have been close enough to one of Gods' avatars to be seen as semi-deities. Talking about Shirdiwale Saibaba, I already acknowledged that he is an avatar

You are thoroughly mistaken with the narrative of the OP. Diseases and viruses are not gods and revered!  It is the worship of a deity that will protect from the curse or Ill-effects of the virus.  This is what you call pagan culture in Christianity.

Sorry buddy but that is inaccurate. One of the videos clearly says that a deity has been created. In the 2nd video, they talk about creating Corona Mata. It is an unacceptable practise.

Don’t go by the narrative of the reporter. I am telling you from experience of how such deities are invented. Let sten to the masked lady in the 2nd video, the protection from the curse of the disease is the focus, not the worship of the virus as you are thinking

I can ignore the reporter if you wish but still the creation of a random deity is unacceptable (acting as one pleases, turning Hinduism into a circus), which is what my key point is

The fundamental truth is that man cannot create Gods. Attempts to create random deities violates this basic truth, displaying a lack of understanding of religion

Problem is the thought it can potentially inculcate, that praying and worshipping of corona can somehow help the masses who engage in it, while only safety is from vaccine and therapeutics. This is called blind faith, religion is often cited as a psychological support mechanism all that is good, in this case all possible goods outweigh the world of bad from such blind faith Cult worship. You are as usual being sensitive and hysterical on anything said and perceived to be anti your identity ( which is hindi speaking hindu) . Religion is mostly belief in something without proof its best to use it on the esoteric where it has lots of value and not on topics infringing public health.

It then makes Hinduism ripe for criticism as malicious left chooses. Need to strengthen self and choose battles.
