It called out China on human rights and its belt and road initiative, where it could create a debt trap for other nations (Took a port in SL on a long lease when SL failed to make payments). G7 plans to offer an alternative to the belt and road initiative. So will we see anything concrete? Is it a genuine initiative (called Build back better world or B3W) or an attempt to take a share from China’s belt and road infrastructure business? Belt and road infrastructure projects extend from Asia to Europe. On the other hand, China has warned G7 that its days are long gone. Per China, the G7, a small group of countries, cannot decide world’s fate. Belt and Road infrastructure projects are a result of China’s relationship with the concerned countries. We know what China can do to countries that challenge it (Aus v China thread).

I see things in very simple terms. After world war 2, US and UK came together and US became king while UK became a king maker while France ceased ministerial seat and USSR a military General was unhappy about it and wanted to become king so they gave chinese ministerial role too. I recall, how UK and EU politicians kept saying that they hope Trump is just there for four year and they will most likely not have to bear another 4 years of Trump aka US unilateralism. What we see now is King as well as King maker are unhappy, King maker UK and minister France was allways happy to take gifts from new Russian adversary but they never planned to do any more favours. Meanwhile Germany created EU as a new front against Russian risk but With UK out, Now France is only minister in eyes of King US, so Germany knows how far its voice will reach. So, gifts or no gifts, China is going to be put in its place. Give it a year, as soon as Corona subsides, you will hear Nato bringing down some Chinese fighter or sinking Submarine. Its going to get messy very soon.

That was exactly the reason why he wanted Confuscious to not go fist fight with Indian soldiers. Even after the Confuscioun fcukps he tried his best to salvage it. But , now it seems that window of opportunity is long gone. China had a small chance and all it needed was to align its Strategic interest with Russia and India. But they thought, they will rather buy UK and EU(France Germany) with some silver coins. I guess, the cat (UK) didn’t teach all financial tricks to Lion(China)

It is tricky as not every NATO country would want to offend China ... A big carrot for these countries would be getting a pie of the B2W which would be competing with China's belt & road infrastructure project ... Russia & North Korea could potentially be China's ally in a war against China In general, USA allies (irrespective whether in NATO) who would want to take on China include Aus (see Aus v China thread), Japan, Taiwan and South Korea (w/ North Korea allied with China) ... But i feel Merkel is now made very well aware that US will let loose Russia in case she crosses line. No action aka inaction right now is not due to unwillingness to act. Right now its a case if survive today to fight tomorrow. Coronavirus imo is seen as modern atom bomb. Think of a situation if virus lab of Wuhan had advanced their research to such a level that virus would have had no effect on people with Chinese origin gene pool. People sitting in top Mi6 CIA are not as stupid as what is being discussed in media. They probably knew what research China was doing. Hence, UK changed its tone despite recieving a panda from Xi Xinping. Time is up. Chinese Plot to change world order is out in open.
