nsareen
BCCI planning to hold two bilateral series ahead of the U-19 World Cup: Reports “The board usually arranges multiple U-19 series – both home and overseas – to prepare a crop of U-19 cricketers for the World Cup. The pandemic has hampered the normal process. It’s important for the young boys to have some international experience,” a top BCCI official privy to the development told TOI. Once the players get shortlisted, the board used to organise bilateral series as part of the preparation for the world event. Given that time is of the essence and that things are out of the ordinary, the BCCI is considering fielding two U-19 teams at the same time. “This is why the board has thought of fielding two teams. Bangladesh are a tough opposition in U-19 cricket. This tournament help will test out the players,” the official added. Suhaan and Mosher 2 Link to comment

Prince Badiani 6 foot 6 fast bowler from Mumbai, already a fifer in Vinoo Mankad. Good strong high arm action. Kid is a serious prospect. I think 17 year old. https://www.instagram.com/p/B18_j8kgeZFc3TCqWtFeKUsFcRaMiEUm42LNo40/?utm_medium=copy_link Edited October 3, 2021 by rkt.india Vickydev, Mosher and Suhaan 3 Link to comment
nsareen
Vasu Vats from UP took 8 wickets today in U19 Vinoo Mankad. Looks a good bowler, with a good action. Edited October 11, 2021 by nsareen Link to comment
nsareen
For u19 this year, selectors would take an exception, those who played last time may also be able to play the next world cup, people like reddy from Hyderabad may get another chance to play.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment

nsareen
Maharashtra bowler Rajvardhan S Hangargekar seems to be a good bowler who can bat nicely too, saved maharashtra single handedly in the semi's & now saving them in the finals too, somebody to lookout for.. https://www.espncricinfo.com/player/rajvardhan-hangargekar-1175429 https://www.bcci.tv/domestic/vinoo-mankad-trophy-2021-22/match/100 https://www.bcci.tv/domestic/33785/vinoo-mankad-trophy-2021-22/stats/most-wickets Link to comment
nsareen
Some match highlights of Haryana Boys created by a Haryana Fan probably, but you get to see some nice bowlers.. some summary : -- Decent quicks on display in Haryana, Rajasthan teams. -- Boring & orthodox spinners, nobody unorthodox or with an X Factor or even a leg spinner like Bishnoi or chahar from previous versions, maybe in other teams but not in these 5-6 teams which are on display across these 6-7 videos. -- Batting also nothing special, just conventional batters. Awesome & he is yet to turn 19, which means he should be available for the next world cup in West Indies. Suhaan 1 Link to comment

express bowling
Vasu Vats looks very impressive. Moving the ball away at good pace and with bounce ... strong action plus good height. Mosher and Suhaan 2 Link to comment
express bowling
One big challenge is to convert these young quicks with prospect into actual Team India pacers doing well after 3 to 4 years. Many pacers have looked good at U19 level in the last 6 years ... but have regressed after that. Mosher and Suhaan 2 Link to comment
