Can Kohli and Rohit take turns leading T20I team by sitting out otherwise?

I think this is a good idea where Virat and Rohit will lead the team alternatively and rest the other match. This way, we don't have the problem of two consolidators at the top and have one extra spot for a youngster. With Hardik Pandya not bowling, team India is already reeling with a bowler short and this alternation will help the team balance a lot.

Too much overreaction. Their batting isn't the problem for us. Rohit is in his purple patch across formats. Kohli even though out of form has bradmanesque record in T20 WCs. He will come good. 

 

Don't judge them on the basis of IPL. They take it for granted and thus play conservatively. Even Rahul tends to bat like an accumulator in IPL. They all are different beasts in Internationals.

We have an excellent team this time. Best Indian team ever selected for a T20 WC imo. With conditions in our favour we are surely favorites to win. We were not favs for 2019 WC but in this one we are. 

 

Huge test for Kohli's captaincy though. If he fails to win this he should give up ODI captaincy too.

true team is pretty pretty good, just 1-2 issues which can be pointed out with any team . If this team fails its captains failure but dnt mix Virat the captain n Virat the batsman 

Also these pitches wnt be flatbeds , everyone wants cowslashing which wont work here most games

Good idea on paper but difficult to implement as both have a high opinion of themselves as T20 players and would want  be in the line up to “pad stats”.
 

 If they are not good enough or past their best, selectors should skip them both in the format the near future
