Jay Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Toss mate. Toss. Only reason. They even won wtc by Toss. Besides india dint even get a chance to prep. Besides india were more deserving number 1. N.z have done * all overseas vs australia and india and s.africa. Odi WC again they won crucial tosses. But ok. Vs india it was a 2 day game. Got lucky there. In final they drew and deserve to share the trophy. Again crucial Toss won. Here same thing.

Well yes they dint deserve to win wTC. They dint play any tough teams away. They also played an underprepared india. I blame kphli and covid for it. Moreover covid protocol but its always nice to pin the blame on a sundered like kuli. They had luck in tosses vs India and England in odi 2019 WC. They even played a 2 day test match vs India technically. It wasn't even a fair game. A rematch of that game I feel would yield a different result

England won according to the rules which were declared before the tournament began. Also they were the better team in group stage and also in the years leading to the world cup 19.
Majestic Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 LOIs:- 1. England 2. New Zealand 3. India Tests :- 1. India 2. New Zealand 3. Australia

The toss & pitch can make all the difference in cricket. Unlike other sports conditions matter, sometimes a lot more than the ability of teams! That's why even the best WI or Oz sides have succumbed to tosses/conditions & then lost.
