Two great semi finals

Regardless of who we support I gotta say the insipid tournament finally got some life after 2 see saw battles in the semi final.  First Jimmy Neesham turning it on when England was having a stranglehold of the game and same here.  These kind of contests give us heroes.

 

Mitchel, Neesham, Warner, Wade, Stoinis.

Just look at it as a catalyst that will get rid of some deadwoods, over hyped hacks. Either way we were not going to win against all these sides.

It just goes to show chasing is becoming way to easy in T20 cricket in certain conditions & that just kills any sort of excitement. This is by far the worst ICC event in so many years.

True. Toss or not,chasing in knockout is never easy. This two teams not only chased it down but did it in some style.

Overall a sh***y tournament. But i expected atleast one blow out in the semi final. I expected Australia to fold meekly on these slow pitches.

Comparing this to the T20 WC in 2016, that one was quality as there were played on better pitches across a series of venues. This tournament was always going to be a letdown from that.
