vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 England is playing in to their hands by being ultra defensive after Root's wicket. Lyon vs lefties on the root is only a matter of time. Ball is turning and bouncing.

vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 Root's wicket cost Malan's wicket. Went into a shell right after his wicket. Starc broke through.

Sgattick10 Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Right now Eng only has 2 batsman Root nd Malan
vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 Even if Lyon doesn't pick up wicket now he is going to be a huge threat in the 2nd innings.
vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 Starc has 48 wickets with Pink ball !! wow.
vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 That ain't touching the bat. Elbow. Immediately reviewed by Pope. But pitch is very spinner friendly.

His batting has dipped in contrast. However he has improved massively as a bowler. He may replace starc long term. Maybe a lower order bowling all rounder. He has so much batting potential imo but his height is inhibiting him against yorkers and balls that keep low. He doesn't have the front foot game of pietersen to counter those low bouncing balls.
vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 This time out. Marnus took the catch.
vvvslaxman Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 Australian catching is spot on. That was actually flicked by him. From close in Marnus took it.

These guys play AFL/Rugby in the winter so there is a lot of hand eye coordination here. Not surprising. vvvslaxman 1
The Realist Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 (edited) Saha > Buttler Joke in test format. Crap WK too. Commentators think this should be the last series of his test career. Edited December 18, 2021 by The Realist
Lone Wolf Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 So impressed with Green. He is shaping up nicely. A 140k+ tall fast batting All rounder is worth its weight in gold. His batting will come along & he showed some spark last summer. You don't average 50+ in Sheild cricket by being a spud. Also will be handy player to have in SC tours It'll allow Australia to play two spinners.

Open with Vince & push Billings down & keep wickets don't waste them playing BBL

Jay Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Our grandson green is a fine player in the making. When I said ages back that he would be a future great, people laughed it off. These kids of ours are easily the second d best Aussie team of all time. Hazelwood starc Cummins Lyon Warner Smith Green labuschagne and Carey. What a star studded team. Our sons have a bright future. As for our step kids aka pommies, they need some fresh faces.
