Our grandson green is a fine player in the making. When I said ages back that he would be a future great, people laughed it off.

 

These kids of ours are easily the second d best Aussie team of all time. Hazelwood starc Cummins Lyon Warner Smith Green labuschagne and Carey. What a star studded team. Our sons have a bright future.

 

As for our step kids aka pommies, they need some fresh faces.

Starc is different beast with Pink ball...  He is a run leaking machine otherwise...  Perfect bowler for Pujara as a match up.  No surprise Pujju struggled vs others especially Hazelwood.

Broad and Anderson are done, they are holding this team back. They couldn’t take one wicket under lights with pink ball.

Starc is different beast with Pink ball...  He is a run leaking machine otherwise...  Perfect bowler for Pujara as a match up.  No surprise Pujju struggled vs others especially Hazelwood. 

Starc is fine with red ball and white ball too. Bowlers like him don’t come that often , generates easy gas above 150k.

He is out of form for a while in White ball cricket in fact both Bumrah & Starc have declined rapidly with white ball.  Starc of 2015 is long gone. 

Hazelwood & Boult are most dangerous ODI bowlers on the planet by stats since 2019.

Starc is mostly scatter gun these days.  Although when he gets it right he is still dangerous.  For odd reasons India play him the best...  He has terrible average vs India.  Even Rahane smoked him in MCG.  Gill in Gabba.

Shaheen Sofafridi has peaked now, he's will be hot fast bowling commodity in years to come especially WC23

And bumrah is very overrated in odi post 2019 tbh. He is not good on flat wickets for odi. Imo there are atleast 3 better bowlers than him in odi. 

 

He is a top tier test bowler no doubt. Easily top 2. But in odi he is very overrated. Infact even in t20 imo he is overrated. I would say top 4 at best. 

 

I have more faith in umran for the future.

I think he has over 50 "pink" (pink ball tests) wickets. That is where his swing gets dangerous.

Maybe but we'll have to see many Pakistani bowler have shown false dawns...  It only takes one series loss here n there & then they all lose the plot.  Pakistani team is right now high on momentum.  But all it takes is one decent opposition to finally nail them down in a Test or ODI series.  I reckon they'll lose vs Lanka in August.
