I'd agree with 70%-80% of this. Carey and Harris don't seem convincing even if they play more tests. Former should be replaced by Street/Renshaw and the latter by Inglis. I think Labu will travel well enough to most places, with the possible exception of SC.

 

The real difference is with Green: he has done badly with bat, but he is a serious talent.

the pitches we faced were very different. it's like comparing 2002 vs 2009 series. with that said, I do think our batting in NZ was sub-par

They made 348 runs. We failed 6 times in a row. No excuse. BD is a side people mock at for having test status. They are giving WTC winners a run for their money. We spectacularly  failed 4 times.  I am not going to blame the pitch for our failures. Our batsman is capable  of failing anywhere.
