Surya kumar Yadav confirms that #KLRahul is available for the selection in 2nd ODI match against West Indies. Ishan Kishan to be dropped

That means no further game time for Kishan in this series. And then people wonder why youngsters are unable to perform. They have zero security.

Anyways, release Kishan from the squad now and let him play Ranji trophy starting on 17th Feb. What's the point of keeping him and other youngsters on the bench. They gain nothing.

You want to know whats even more stupid of KL for Kishan.

The fact that Kishan will be dropped for KL to open, who then will be moved down the batting order to 5 when Dhawan returns to open.

Its Indian Madness at its pinnacle here.

The worst aspect is that it will be considered an intelligent logical and correct decision to make.

ITs frustrating because its these games that Kishan should be playing most of all right now before a WC.

I think we should be content with current state of affairs,

Lets hope things change after WC23

But these guys have the capacity to drag their careers well into WC 27

I think Rahul will replace Hooda and not Kishan. And to be fair, that is the right thing.

If Rahul comes in, then Kohli should rest. No point in dropping youngsters after one game. if the same was done to Kohli and Rohit early in their careers, they would  never have had the kind of records they now have. Their captains and coaches backed them right from the beginning. Sadly our youngsters of today do not have that luxury

Absolutely, Kohli can use a break too.

The fairest thing is to replace Kohli with KL and team India come up with a stronger middle order.

KL is better at no. 4 or no. 5. we need someone like gaekwad/gill IMO at no. 3.

Hitman normally plays his natural game slow initially then brutal, so having someone like Gill at 3 would be good for India, ie technical batsmen for ODI.

In this series most of the problems that have been identified can be solved.

The middle order of Rahul,Surya,Pant looks good.

The spinning combination of Sundar and Chahar are among wickets in the middle order.

In Prasidh we have another strike bowler to bowl in tandem with Bumrah,Shami .

Avesh should get the 3rd odi .He could be another wicket taker who can be strong reserve when Bumrah,Shami are rested.

Now the main problem of top 3 batsman.Team management should have persisted with Kishan with this 3 odi.I would have added variety of right left combination as well as an attacking batsman to bat with Rohit and Kohli.

The team management should try this combination for the 3rd odi

Rohit

Kishan

Virat

Rahul

Surya

Pant

Sundar

Bishnoi

Siraj

Prasidh

Avesh
